夏天拥有着奇特的性格，它火烈、成熟，有着与众不同的魅力，同时一会儿晴，一会儿雨，像一个顽皮的小孩子。
夏天是花的季节。各种各样的花儿这儿一朵，那儿一簇，大片大片的开出无限的美丽。红的、黄的、蓝的、粉的、白的……把夏天装扮的五彩缤纷；夏雨刚过就能看见雨天溅起的水花，五颜六色的伞花……把夏天打扮的生机勃勃。可好景不长。
？太阳就像一颗刚烤熟的地瓜，把大地烫的红通通，热腾腾，连各种小生物都不放过：人们个个汗如雨下，小狗一天到晚吐著舌头散热，发出哈哈的声音，花儿也被晒得瘦骨如柴。每个人都穿著短袖短裤，手上拿著扇子不停的扇呀扇，还是抵挡不了太阳的威力。在这时：冷气、游泳、吃冰，就成了人们最向往的了。

夏天很炎热，也很美。
早上，花草树枝在露水的滋润下，显得精神焕发，散发出阵阵清香。小鸟在枝头上欢蹦乱跳，叽叽喳喳的叫个不停，朝阳给大地披上了一件金黄的衣裳。如果你这时漫步在山林之中，你会觉得耳目一新、神清气爽。
中午，红红的太阳像火球一样，高高的挂在天空，把大地烤的滚烫滚烫的。花草树木都无精打采，垂下了头。蝉儿再树上拼命地叫着“知了!知了!”好像在说：“热死我了!热死我了!”大黄狗在树阴底下，张着嘴，不停的`吐着舌头，喘着粗气。人们都躲在有空调的地方，不愿意出来。
傍晚，夕阳如丹，天边的云雾霎时间变的红彤彤的，就像天空着了火，青蛙偷偷地跳出水面，扯高嗓门“呱呱呱”地大叫起来，好像在对太阳公公说：“再见了!再见了!”
晚上，吃过晚饭后，三三两两的人来到河堤上，一边乘凉，一边聊天，一边观赏美丽的夜景。街上的盏盏灯光和天上的点点繁星相互辉映，让人分不清哪里是天，哪里是地。
